买房的英文不是buy a house，定位柯桥蓝天

我们说的“房子”不是househouse指的是独门独院基本带有车库和庭院草坪的房子相当于国内的别墅当你说buy a house 意思是买了个别墅（如果有钱人买独栋房子就可以这么说）例：Prices are rising so fast that people can't afford detached houses.房价上涨得如此之快，人们已经买不起独栋房屋了。

Condo/Co-op
如果在美国购买公寓，根据产权性质可分为两种：Condo/Co-op
1️⃣Condo，全称condominium，指的是“(套房私有，其他地方属业主共有)的公寓”，类似于国内大部分人购买的房子，也就是有产权的房子。不管是出租，还是买卖，都没有很多限制。
2️⃣Co-op，翻译成中文叫合作公寓，业主购买到的不是该公寓的产权，而是合作公寓公司的股份，即拥有了该公司给予的长期“租赁使用权”，业主如果要出租，会受到很多限制。所以，我们说的买房子， 贴切的表达应该是“buy a condo”.或者，也可以说成：buy a home（买一处住所）。
例：So this could be the perfect time to buy a home. 所以这可能是买房子的绝佳时机。
Cottage
#️⃣cottage多指远离城市或城镇的乡村小屋。
例：The cottage is tiny, but it's charming. 这间小屋虽小，却十分迷人。
“租房，合租”英语怎么说？现如今，很多年轻人租的都是公寓，翻译成英文就是rent an apartment/a flat.

如果你只想租一个单间，可以说rent a room.
也有一部分人会选择合租。 简单的表达方式就是share a(n) flat/apartment，当然也有team up with someone to rent a(n) flat/apartment，可以替换使用。
如何表达“合租”这一现象呢？flat sharing即可。
例：If the amount you can afford for rent seems too low, consider sharing an apartment.如果你能承担的资金比较低的话，可以考虑合租一个公寓。
They teamed up with another family to rent an apartment for the summer.他们与另一家合租一套单元房来度过这个夏天。
Nowadays flat sharing has become a commonplace.如今，合租已经成为一种司空见惯的现象。

还清房贷pay off the mortgage
